A Guide On How To Dress A Triangular Body Type

Knowing what body shape you are can help so much in figuring out what types of styles work best for you, to compliment your body type.

Today I’ll be guiding you in how to dress a Triangular Shaped Body (or as some call it The Pear). As a Triangular Body, your hips are larger than your bust and you have a nicely defined waist; so don’t be afraid to show that off!

Starting with the tops, since all the volume is in the hips we need to balance the body to give it the Hourglass Shape. The best way to do that is to add volume to the shoulders and to define the waist. So instead of having large hips you’ll trick the eye to make it seem like you have a balanced bust and hips with a perfect waist.

Best Selection Of Tops For A Triangular Body Type:

Boat-neck tops, wide V or U necks.
Off the shoulder tops.
Tops with fitted waist.
Bright colors and bold patterns.
Tops with full or structured shoulders.

Best Selection Of Bottoms For A Triangular Body Type:

Darker colors are best to minimize your lower half.
A- Line skirts.
Simple bottoms with no structured or embellished details.
Lightly gathered skirts.

So many ins and so many outs in fashion this year, but for now lets focus on the ins and talk about what’s trending for 2016.

Now I’m sure most of you have already noticed this but its amazing how cuffing your jeans can bring so much to your outfit! Lets not forget the Ripped & Boyfriend jeans as well.

YES! Now this is what I’m talking about! Colorful, cute, lavishly designed, stylish little coin purse wallets. I’m dying to have all those in my wardrobe right now! They totally go with anything and they’re easy to match with a casual day outfit. Even if you just decide to wear a pair of jeans with a simple white T-shirt, grab a colorful purse wallet and you’re good to go!

Sleeveless Coats:

Yup that’s right! The sleeveless coats are so IN this year and they come with so many different colors! Whats so cool about them is they can easily be worn in all the seasons, whether you plan on wearing them for Spring, Summer, Winter or Fall, it all works depending on how you wear it. So stylish! Aren’t they? well thank God these beauties are super trendy this year! Supper stylish with jeans or even cute summery dresses!

My personal favorites! Sunglasses this year bloomed into new designs and in full ranges of colors and prints. Being very trendy ranging from the classy darker colors, to the more hip joyful bright ones, each with a different sense, still giving a strong statement about yourself and your taste in style, freshening up your look!

Beaded Shirts & Dresses:

It all started when Balmain x H&M released their collab collection, and the Black Beaded Blazer was the biggest hit of them all! The beaded shirts/dresses are so fun to style and wear.

Trending Summer Colors

Summer is here! Whoop Whoop! Who enjoys dressing up for summer like me?! I’m sure most of you agree. Well guess what? I came with a pretty cool tip on how to dress for the summer this year with the trending colors for 2016! Exited enough? Lets get started.

All the cute, fresh looking outfits you’ll be striking in the streets are followed by a special, yet important element… COLOR. Color brings life to your outfit and gives you a sense of optimism and excitement. If you’re not familiar yet with the Spring/Summer Trend Colors of 2016, I’m here to tell you a little bit about them.

Rose Quartz and Serenity:

The Spring/Summer collection is led by Rose Quartz.

This lovely calm color is best paired with the Serenity, Peach Echo, or Lilac Gray.

Snorkel Blue, Buttercup and Fiesta:

How energetic are these beauties?!

Snorkel Blue is from the navy family, but comes in a fun, happier context, inspired by the docks and the marines.

Styling Pins

Hii there everyone!!

So I finally started my own blog, and I’m super exited, I hope you all enjoy the things I’ll be sharing! And please if you have any suggestions about anything you want me to talk about, feel free to comment below and I’ll make sure I’ll read everything and take it in consideration.

Today I wanted to talk about something I really love and enjoy using, “The Pin Sets”.

Sometimes we feel like our outfit is missing something and we just want to make it look on fleek with just adding a little touch, well this little touch may be anything like Accessories, Makeup, Shoes, a Blazer maybe, or those cute and gorgeous pins which I’ll be calling them “Styling Pins” because they really do style up your outfit!

I got them from Stardivarius a couple days ago and I honestly couldn’t wait until I got home to start styling them with so many outfits! They go with EVERYTHING, Shirts, Jackets, Blazers, Sweaters, T-shirts, Shirt Dresses, anything!! And its up to you on how you want to style them, and that’s whats so cool about them!
