Pregnancy Announcement!

So we finally announced that we’re pregnant on social media, and as much as we wanted to keep this to ourselves, we’re super excited and happy to share this with everyone. Such a wonderful new chapter in our lives.

It all happened in January when we first found out the big news, a little version of us on the way to make us a family. I can not explain how wonderful that felt and how much joy it brought to us.

Week by week and as our little one grew it made us realize how blessed we are and yet how often we forget the blessings we have. I’ve always read about how important it is to count your blessing but I honestly never really committed to doing so everyday, now I can’t sleep without thinking of at least 3 things I’m grateful for in my life.

The first couple of months were tough, I couldn’t eat, sleep or go to work, I even thought about quitting my job several times (thank god I didn’t), there were times were I wouldn’t even be able to drink water without having to rush to the bathroom. Everyone kept telling me it’ll all go back to normal the second trimester, but at that time I didn’t believe it and I thought it’ll continue to be like this the whole pregnancy. I was wrong.

We’re now 31 weeks pregnant, preparing for the big day, and waiting to meet our little one. I can honestly say that I couldn’t have done this without my hubby by my side. He gives me strength and love and I’m forever grateful to have him in my life.

Ramadan Skin Care Routine!

Hello everyone! Ramadan Mubarak and I hope that this Holy month is going smooth and easy with you guys.

Now I’m sure we’re all suffering dried lips and cranky skin during Ramadan but there’s always a way to take care of your skin and keep it looking healthier than ever, of course while fasting you don’t feel like doing anything at all and all you want to do is rest and EAT! lol, but believe me after a couple of days when you start to notice the changes in your skin you’ll come running for a healthy skin care routine to boost your skin up high.

Here are a couple of tips I personally use everyday:

  • Number 1: DRINK DRINK DRINK WATER!

My first and most important tip is to stay hydrated, after your Iftar focus on drinking a good amount of water (at least 8 glasses of water from Iftar to Suhoor) to make up for the lack of water in your body.

We all know that water is crucial to keep your skin hydrated and healthy, so keep those glasses of water coming!

  • Number 2: Moisturize!

Since water will be working its way to hydrating your body on the inside your skin will also need some extra help to stay hydrated on the outside. To do so, try applying a little more of your daily moisturizer throughout the day.

Here are a couple that you may want to try:

  • Number 3: Sunscreen

If you’re a busy bee and you spend most of the day out in the sun (especially in this hot weather) please please don’t forget your sunscreen! It’s very important to protect your beautiful skin from all the sun rays it’s exposed to.

  • Number 4: Maintain a healthy diet:

I know I know, its hard during Ramadan, but at least try to add more fruit and vegetables to your Iftar and Suhoor that are rich in vitamins A,B,C to maintain and beautiful skin.

 

  • Number 5: Face Masks

Wide Leg Pants

It’s been a long time since I’ve posted on the blog, but I’m trying my best to be more active and post more often. Anyway, today I thought I’d share with you this cute outfit, to be honest this isn’t something I would usually wear, but I kinda went different and I actually really like it! In fact I love it, these wide leg pants I got from ZARA are super comfortable and chic! I styled them with a simple grey sweater and went all red with the accessories.

The Casual Outfit

If you follow me on Instagram or Snapchat you know I was in Dubai for around a week, and during my vacation I always go for the comfy outfits that allow me to explore as much as I can.

So here I went with a baggy beige trousers, a simple black long sleeved shirt and I layered it with a jeans jacket. Super comfy and perfect for a day full of adventures.
